In case of discrepancies the German version prevails.
Scope
These terms apply to all services of Haas Bookings (Tamino Primo Haas, Seestrasse 70, 8266 Steckborn, Switzerland; info@haasbookings.com; +41 76 603 77 71), “we” below. They are agreed when you accept an offer or make a booking through us. Different terms apply only if we confirm them in writing.
Our services and our role
We plan trips for you: we obtain offers for flights, hotels, activities, transfers and eSIM, advise on entry, visas and travel insurance, and put the trip together. We do not broker insurance.
For flights, accommodation and activities we act as an intermediary. You conclude the contract for each individual service with the respective provider, for example an airline, a hotel, a consolidator, GetYourGuide or Klook. The provider’s terms also apply to these services, including rebooking, cancellation, refunds and liability. Haas Bookings does not offer package trips but arranges individual services.
Planning fee
We charge a planning fee for trip planning. We state the amount in the individual offer before you accept. The free first call is non-binding. The planning fee pays for our work and is due whether or not you book the proposed services afterwards, unless the offer says otherwise. Provider fees and prices come on top and are shown in the offer or before booking.
Offer and contract
Unless stated otherwise our offer is valid for 7 days. The planning contract is concluded when you accept the offer in writing (including by email or messenger). Provider prices and availability may change until booking. A booking is only binding once the provider confirms it.
Payment
Before each payment we tell you whom you pay and how much. Payments to providers follow their terms. Our invoices are payable within 10 days of receipt unless the offer says otherwise.
Changing and cancelling the planning
You can cancel the planning assignment in writing at any time. We charge work already done pro rata; once planning is complete, the agreed planning fee remains due. We can cancel for good cause, for example if you breach your duty to cooperate; we then refund anything paid for services not yet provided.
Cancelling and rebooking bookings
The provider’s terms apply to cancellation, rebooking and refunds, and we point them out before you book. Many flight tickets, hotel and activity bookings cannot be cancelled or only for a fee. Report changes as early as possible; we help you deal with the provider.
Your duties
You give complete and correct details, especially names as in your passport, travel dates and contact details. You are responsible for making sure your passport, visa, vaccinations and insurance cover suit your trip. We inform you to the best of our knowledge; the authorities’ statement is binding. We only carry out bookings for persons aged 18 or over.
Liability
We are liable for careful selection and intermediation. We are not liable for the providers’ services, such as flight, accommodation or activity; the provider is liable under its terms and applicable law. We exclude liability for slight negligence as far as legally permitted. This does not apply to injury to life, body or health, or to intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for force majeure (for example natural events, strikes, official measures), for delays or cancellations by providers, or for loss or theft during the trip. Where permitted, our liability is limited to the planning fee we received.
Affiliate links
Some links on our website lead to partners and are marked as partner links. If you book through them we receive a commission; the price does not change for you.
Data protection
How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may change these terms. For existing contracts, the version at the time you accepted the offer applies.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The place of jurisdiction is Steckborn, canton of Thurgau, unless the law mandatorily provides another place, in particular for consumers.
